Any of my PETA ppl have advise for my Michigan friend about her Labrador Boomer? I really dont want her crating him either. HELP! Our landlord is trying to make us get rid of Boomer! Any advice? Cliffs notes version of story. We needed our vent fixed and our landlord sent over his construction guy. Also, this Friday and Monday Jeff and I both worked a ton and Boomer started chewing ( the remote, part of a window frame, wall, and the trim on two of the doors.). The construction guy called the landlord and told him about the dog damage and when I got out of work I had a text saying dog damaged walls and needs to go. I went into his office to talk to him but he told his secretary he didnt want to speak to me and then texted and said hes writing a formal letter and the actual owner of the house will be involved. Were happy to pay for the damages and we will start crating Boomer when we go to work. (Boomer is in the lease by the way). However, Im afraid theyre going to say that even if we fix the chewed spots that Boomer still cant stay. Does anybody know if they can evict us if we say we wont get rid of the dog? I dont know all of the laws about this stuff and Boomer is like our child. Any ideas/advice? Thanks!!!
