Any of my blood donor friends out there - just be aware that there is an email scam going around. I have just received an email from a firm called National Institute for Care and Excellence. Basically they say that they have analysed my blood and they are concerned my white cells are low and I may have cancer! I thought it was a scam as there were lots of spelling mistakes in it and they sent a zip file which I obviously didnt open. I rang the Blood Donor Service just in case and they said they have lots of calls so just be aware.
