Any of my friends have advice about student loans? I have been going to the University of Redlands for a year now and have been paying cash for my tuition because I didnt want to take out any loans. I do not receive any grants or free money through FAFSA-- I havent qualified for anything in the past 4 years except the BOG waiver, which does me no good at UofR. Im barely able to afford my current tuition & next month I will start taking additional courses for the professional financial planning program to become a certified financial planner... that means my tuition will double for the next year I cant postpone my degree any longer just because I dont have the money to pay for my tuition. And honestly, it would relieve a lot of stress if over half my income wasnt going to pay for school every month. I think its time to bite the bullet and explore my options. Advice would be appreciated because I know nothing about this process. (I called the financial aid office at school already, waiting to get a call back to set up an appointment)
