Any one want to take a trip down south this weekend? Im heading to the Rogue River. Its a hike in trip. Im leaving Springfield at 2 am Saturday. We get to the trail head at around 5 am the hike in is by headlamp/flashlight. I usually end up at hole number 1 by first light. The hike is hard, but beyond amazing, we will be fishing down in the wild and scenic section of the Rogue. Ive fished this section for 20 years in a row. I know the holes. This is one of those share my secrete spots situations. Its also a shared fuel cost situation. Deer, Bear, eagles, otters. There are some holes you can fish for sturgeon in also. Target species: winter steel and half pounders message me if interested. Gas would be about 20 dollars a piece. I have a single cab chevy, if more people wanted to go and had a reliable car then yeah, we can do that probably be cheaper. Its a 310 mile round trip.
