Any personal trainers out there? I really want to start the Strong Lifts 5x5 program in the next couple weeks but I have no prior weight training experience (although I play basketball etc. so Im familiar with the concept of physical exertion :P). Id love to do a couple sessions with a trainer just to show me the basic technique for the core exercises - squats, bench presses, barbell rows, overhead presses, and deadlifts. Ill have a Flexipass for the Vancouver Park Board community centres, and I usually go to Britannia CC on Commercial Drive. Not sure if you need a special license or permission to do personal training in their gyms though? Thanks for any/all help for this strength training rookie :D
