Any random medical student would state that his/her ambition is to complete the 5 years degree, open a clinic and settle down. Come on. Studying medicine is no joke. It requires intelligence and tremendous hardwork. But whats the point of the hardwork if you are planning to spend the rest of your life in a renovated shoplot and waiting for patients with just a degree?? Parallel to their intelligence, budding doctors should have innovative dreams and constant thirst for knowledge, not to forget putting the effort to pursue it. You can go for Masters, PhD, R&D, medical education. You can even work your way to become the Minister of Health or WHO President! Ini susah payah study medicine 5 tahun, kerja untuk kerajaan sebab wajib, buka clinic dan duduk dalam forever. Typical. Overflowing of doctors in Malaysia is undeniable, but the demand for specialists is still high, since many doctors do this for one reason: to settle in life early and relax.
