Any suggestions for good places to fish from the bank? My husband and I are relatively new to the area, and are just now getting back into our favorite activity, FISHING. We plan to buy a boat next year, but in the meantime, wed love to find some good spots that dont require a boat. His requirements are simple: water and a place to stand. My requirements are a bit more complicated: I dont want to hike through undergrowth where snakes can hide, and I dont want to fish from a bank where snakes can find a place to hide. To sum things up, I really, really dont want to encounter any snakes. :-( Im (relatively) OK with them swimming across the river/stream, as long as they end up somewhere other than where I am. So...suggestions?
