Any thoughts on this piece I wrote? It is part of a much large text but wanted to share this section. The formatting is thrown off a bit by copying and posting here. All of our human experiences can be divided into three categories; objective, subjective, and transcendental. The definition given below for the objective and subjective experiences are not based in western theory, and do not correspond to the definitions found in the dictionary. Objective Experience is: our awareness of objects and experiences by; witnessing, perceiving, or being made aware of them. This includes physical objects perceived by the bodily senses ( a sight for example); as well as mental objects perceived within mind including thoughts, ideas, visualizations, interest’s, desires, inclinations, and intuition. The objective experience refers to the makeup of all mental conditioning experienced through a learned name and form, which are realized to be aberrations and holograms or “empty” manifestations of consciousness. The holographic nature of sensory and mental experience is easy to understand when we reflect on the fact that dreams seem “real” while in them, but after waking up we realize were empty creations of our own consciousness holding no true time or space existing only in learned names and forms. The objective experience is called the Conditioned Experiences, Conditioned Existence and the Conditioned Mind, a “world” created by the mind and senses. Subjective Experience is: the experience of awareness alone, especially the experience of the clear awareness which can become aware of itself as objective in nature. This is best understood by reflecting on the fact that awareness has the ability to become aware of itself and at this point awareness become an objective or experiential experience, and it becomes apparent that awareness has the same holographic or “empty” principle as sensory experience. Awareness is a product but not the essence of me. Subjective awareness can become aware of itself infinite times like a person looking at themselves in a mirror while holding a mirror and the image can keep reflecting itself reflecting itself. The subject is awareness, as it witnesses, perceives, or is made aware of all objective experiences including itself. It is through this holographic awareness that we become aware of objective and subjective experiences. This type of paradoxical awareness is distinct from the objective and subjective experiences in essence, and touches on the transcendental. The subjective experience can be called Unconditioned Experiences, Unconditioned Existence, and Unconditioned Mind; because it holds no objective definable reality outside of itself and has no definable age, time, size, name, or form. Awareness is only a term used to describe it but cannot define it in nature. The missing key is that the clarity and state of the unconditioned is hindered or liberated by the state of obstruction or cleanliness of the physiological organism it is a part of. Transcendental Experience: The subjective experience of awareness can become transcendental when the paradox of awareness is comprehended and even awareness is let go of to certain extent as a psycho-physiological structure and not the essence of who you are. This happens intermittently by experiencing transcendental states for a brief moment and then once back into a subjective or objective state realizing and reflecting on what has been experienced, then the transcendental states of being are gradually experienced for longer intermittent periods from seconds, to minutes, to a number of days. Some meditation systems say 7 days is the longest one can remain unperturbed in a transcendental state of consciousness, but this may be fettered by the state of obstruction in the practitioner. When we begin to realize that awareness, perception, and experience all arises distinct from who we are, we become more comfortable not defining ourselves by our subjective or objective experiences. Transcendental experience is often misunderstood and idealized as a state of complete dissolution and non-existence. Transcendental states can be experienced as a complete transcendence of phenomena to the point of withdrawing the consciousness from physical and mental experiences: but this does not mean we cease to exist by any means. Transcendentalism is in fact a type of higher wisdom coupled with repeated temporary transcendental experiences in the process of self-knowledge and self-realization. Levels of experience still exist but are purified or are made increasingly relative through a deep understanding of life and oneself. This process in itself is another level to the cleansing of the psycho-physiology of the being. If a person regularly drops a piece of their food every time they go to take a bite the first few times it will be annoying, then will produce hilarity, and then will be let go of as relatively unimportant experience because one learns through experience that life goes on. Eventually a person would stop experiencing either attraction or repulsion from the experience, and begin to transcend it knowing that it is not of primary importance. That’s how transcendentalism arises. We begin to experience subjective and objective experiences, along with ideas, cravings, and attachments, with experiential wisdom and let go of the relative in favor of the fundamental. This experience of rational transcendentalism occurs primarily as we begin to contemplate the senses and awareness with meditation along with the overcoming of obstructions through the Mucusless Diet Healing System.
