Any time I pass through Thika Road I am facinated by the grand development projects that are consistently being implemented by Kenyatta University. Last week the university overtook Nairobi University in student intake. On the opposite side I pass through Nairobi University daily to and from work and I have never noticed a single development project. It has been the way I left it in 1975. This year however something is germinating near the Norfolk. The point to note hear is that it is the leader who make the greatest difference in every family, institution, county, or country. It you compare Prof Mugenda and the other pretenders you will agree with this. I have noticed that Prof Njoka of Chuka University is a good student. At the country level Kibaki was like Mugenda. What do you think. Can we move away from useless politics and shift our thinking for better Kenya?
