Any tips for a dog that chews its bed? 11month Jack Russell, he used to chew his beds and de-stuff them when he was younger so had vetbed in crate and he only got his comfy bed in his crate at night, now he is good as has a proper bed in kitchen and living room and hasnt chewed a bed up for months. The problem comes in the car, he has a crate in boot in the car which currently has vet bed in because he chewed his crate mat up, but he chews his vet bed, I wondered if its because he is always well supervised except when in car as I cant see him, as doesnt do it at home. He is very used to being in the car and has been since I got him, he comes to work with me, is well exercised, he has an antler and chew toy in crate in car. I know with horses you can spray stuff on their beds to discourage eating it, would a similar thing work in this situation? Thanks.
