Any well crafted character driven film can always break the conventions of genre that would otherwise restrict its reception by an audience and this is very much the case with #ButchCassidy and the #SundanceKid a film that exceeded every expectation I had while adding an accessibility and understanding of the Old West through exquisite acting and intelligent dialogue. Despite the occasional tonal shift from its musical interludes and the use of out of date fake blood Butch and Sundance matches #Deadwood in its interpretation and engagement of what I would usually deem a dull subject matter for a #ShitRating of 17%. https://youtube/watch?v=1IbStIb9XXw
