Any words of support for a Bump Baby Mumma? We found the ABA help line fabulous when bfing got hard. xxx My son is 7wk 2days and breastfeeding ia agony. When he latches is worse, during the feed and after. His latch is perfect. Two lactation specialists has seen and flinched when they saw how well he latches. His latch is very very strong. I dont have cracked nipples, they are just pink around the nipple base. I bf my daughter for 15 months and it wasnt anything like this. I have tried, laninoh, paw paw, breast milk, nipple shields and many more remedies. It is so severe I need to give two formula feeds. One mid morning to relieve a little from the overnight and one late afternoon before his bedtime feed. Not that this helps. I express during the two supplement feeds to keep my milk up. Expressing is relief. I wont be giving up but I need a solution. I dont want to supplement at all. When I express I only get 30-50mls because I think because his suction is stronger. He had a tongue tie cut and it didnt help. Please please please help.
