Anybody following here that is in Louisiana or any of the states between LA and CA? If so... your help with a beagle rescue may be needed. There is currently a beagle/ hound rescue of 80 (yes, 80) dogs going on in Shreveport, LA. A rescue here in California can take a lot of them, but transport becomes the issue. So, were looking for people who might be able to help transport, and rescue groups along the way who could either A) take in a few of the dogs or B) let the beagle convoy stop there to feed the dogs, let them out of their crates, etc... The rescue group in California is coordinating with the rescue group in Louisiana (because 80 dogs takes a couple of villages!). I just offered to help spread the word and find more help. If there are rescue groups close by the Shreveport area or willing to drive to pick up some of the dogs--that would be great! If you know of a rescue group, please be the one to contact them and see if they can take in any of the dogs or help along the way. Tagging lots of rescues on here wont be helpful because I cant contact all of the rescue groups--thats where we need help! Thanks!!
