Anybody have any old pictures of the old Telephone co on w cherry, When I was a kid we used to watch the phone operators work the phones in the window. Remember when in Bluffton we had phones that had no dials? You just pick up the receiver and told them who you wanted? every body in the neighborhood listened in on your conversation. My ant and uncles farm phone number in southern wells county was 582j1 it was the warren exchange. How about the milk man delivering milk before the sun rose we had our own dairy back then. How about the little park on so main where CVS. There was also a little gas station there in the late 60s or early 70s. Across the street was Earl Meeks who always fixed our bicycles and we would sometimes pump gas and clean up for him. We all loved Earl he would watched out for us. Earl was friends to everybody.
