Anybody here mess with infrared landscape photography? I just got into it and picked up a used IR converted camera on ebay. Its interesting and different. Kinda artsy. This is an image of sunset at Lake Havasu last weekend. The first one has been adjusted in Lightroom to make it look somewhat normal (with a twist) and the second image is straight out of the camera and is what I actually saw on the LCD. The IR filter that is normally in all cameras has been removed and in its place is a filter that blocks most visible (to humans) light. There are many other post processing techniques that I have not yet tried. If you google ir landscape and select images you can see what others have done. Its different.
