None of this, of course, was mentioned by any of the Congressmen during the hearing. Cable news is about sensationalism, and controversy, not facts, or the truth in context. Its already poisoning our politics. Theres an old phrase that says, follow the money. With all the things our Congress SHOULD be focusing on, they focus on Dr. Oz? Usually when you see any alternative health option being attacked, the pharmaceutical industry is not far behind because this is a threat to the drug industry, and its the pharmaceutical industry that gives huge donations to many members in Congress. Thats what lobbying is all about...influence.
