Anybody knowledgeable with traffic laws!!! I got a speeding ticket last week going 60 mph in a 45. I had begun slowing down and had my blinker on knowing I had to yield to an oncoming jeep I slowed down more as it was passing the entrance I needed to.turn into a motorcycle cop was following on its rear, they passed and I began to make my turn and the motorcyclist turned on his lights and pulled me over in my neighborhood. When he initially walked up to my car he said I was going 62 mph and I said that is impossible, I would never speed that fast with my daughter in the car. Can I please see your radar that indicated I was going that fast. And he replied nope I dont have to show you. Then proceeded to ask where I lived, my phone number and where I worked at. Do they usually ask those things?? And when he walks back for me to sign the ticket he changed the speed to 60 instead of 62. So I just signed it and said I would see him in court. I know for a fact I wasnt going that fast but is it my word against his? And is it even worth it to try and contest it????
