Anybody to help here? For those of you who dont know Laureen Bertin, I can collect and deliver to Laureen too. If you can help make life a little easier for a talented dancer please inbox or give me a call. Sharing this is helping toO:). This is a special personal request going out to FB friends and acquaintances and especially in Joburg and surrounds. I have the privilege of knowing a young girl from a very poor background who is a huge ballet talent and so dedicated. She is 13, in Grade 8 at the School of the Arts where she was accepted on the basis of her talent, but her single mom really struggles to provide even the basics with work being so scarce. Ballet stuff is costly and I am asking people to please ask around and see if anyone has ballet items they no longer need, ballet shoes size 4 and a half, and ballet clothing for a Size SMALL / 32 of height about 165cm. She walks many blocks in all weather to get on a taxi to her ballet classes and gets home after dark and never complains about anything. I still have four children to educate so can help only in a limited way. I would collect any donations with pleasure. Thank you! ~ Laureen Bertin.
