Anybody who is looking at student houses at the moment, i beg you to stay away from Parklane Professionals. Since my tenancy with this joke of a company i have experienced an unbelievable amount of problems. The recent of which is a break in on Christmas Eve causing me to lose over £2000 worth of valuables. This incident was caused due to an none-replaced broken locking mechanism on the ground floor kitchen window. Their was no sign of forced entry to the window (as it was already broken) as stated by the Police inspector I am dealing with. In addition to this, I am also dealing with Unipol (governing body of student letting) and my solicitor who are both aiding me take this mess of a company to court in oder to get justice for their wrong doing. This is multi million pound organisation, that go out of their way to scam students and accept no liability for any disrepair. Since moving into their property in september, i can confirm they have broken over 12 codes of compliance from the Unipol code book. My house was left insecure and liable to burglary for over 2 weeks during the Christmas period, all of which because of their poor business conduct and total lack of communication between their office and maintenance team. STAY AWAY.
