Anyone been to Cactus Mexican Grill & Pub in Hyehwa? I temporarily got my hopes up when I saw their extensive menu. Then I saw them slip a ketchup packet into my takeout order. Their menu has a lot of the usual Mexican foods, and the menu photography looked very appetising, especially the chimichangas. The menu also has burgers, and Ill withhold final judgement on the place until I try one of their burgers. They have a lunch special before 3. Although they dont have a fountain drink machine, they do have a better selection of draught beers. I got two tacos for 7800 which included not bad fries and a can of Coke. They gave me the choice between chicken and galbi and you couldnt get one of each. The chicken was sort of like heavily breaded popcorn chicken. The tacos were filled with corn, sour cream, and thin strips of tortilla chips for some reason, with no seasoning to speak of. I did not try them with ketchup. I suspect that Taco Bell tastes better and is more authentic than this.
