Anyone else have a sheltered childhood as a kid? My parents were religious and because so I was homeschooled until the end of grade 4 and my only friends were also religious. Since then my parents became less strict eventually becoming atheists themselves but I feel Ive had a lot of catching up to do socially because my idea of socialization and what people were like was based entirely on other sheltered people and TV. Not to disrespect religious families of course this is just my experience.
