Anyone else in the Adair area had enough of this slow ass internet. Well I am and the only way you will get it repaired is to take you landline and dial 611. Call and complain to the internet technical people. Or if you cant dial 611, look in the phone book and get the other number you can call from your cell phone. The nice technician Lee came to my house and told me there is a ladency problem. Lee said there are too many devices now such as kindles, ipads, laptops and others things and the old computer stuff in the building behind the medical clinic uptown is way old. And until his supervisor has another town they are putting a bigger one(chip or something) in and we get the one they are replacing it with which will give us a bigger one. Until that happen which could be whenever we get what we get. UNLESS WE COMPLAIN TO NO END! It maybe months. I called again today and told them I will call every day till it is fixed or I change my internet provider. LADENCY is a lag and they are selling more 12 mbs internet that they have capacity for or to supply.. Otherwise it means that if everyone turned on the water in there house all at the same time on the same line. NO PRESSURe or lots less pressure. AND that my fellow citizens of Adair is why your internet from WINDSTREAM is so dam slow. So feel free if you think your internet is too slow and do some complaining as they told me, the more we have complain the sooner it will be repaired to actually have the internet we had a year ago.
