Anyone else notice a reduction in their regenerative breaking charging? I have a 2012 Leaf (no B mode), with a D and Eco option. I had always noticed a big difference in regeneration between the two modes - in D it was tough to get more than 3 dots of regen, but in Eco it was very easy to get all 5 regen dots to light. Around Nov 2013 I noticed I got much less regen dots in Eco mode than I had. I recently compared between D and Eco mode, and find I am getting pretty much the same regen. Feels like something in broken. I brought the Leaf in to the Nissan dealership twice now asking them to take a look at it, and both times they have dismissed the issue - charge system is working fine, and amount of regen is adjusted by the controller and depends on the state of the battery. Doesnt feel right to me - I wonder if either the regen system is no longer noticing the change of mode from D to Eco, or if there was a software update around Nov 2013 that changes the regen amount in Eco mode. Anyone else have any such observations? Thanks in advance!
