Anyone else notice that languages tend to match the history of each particular culture. For example. German language is very guttural and almost needs to be shouted or at least spoken firmly. Its very straight forward and simple and yet holds very little in common with other languages besides English. A distinct warrior/engineer culture combined with an inherent intellectual practicality and clarity of purpose. Latin languages on the other hand such as Spanish, French and Italian tend to have a smoother more expressive tone. Passionate would be the best word. And all three nations have been very culture orientated, placing high priorities on both science and art while simultaneously being very divided both politically and militarily throughout history. I know this probably is a wild observation but an interesting one.
