Anyone else remember eating at the great greasy spoon Polish Johns? He had the best hot dogs and bean soup. His dogs were great because he steamed them and the buns. He had a policy that if you could eat 3 in one sitting the 4th was free. I used to work for John Chumas TV repair. Wed eat there often or the Dutch Kitchen. John told me hed see Polish John drop food on the floor and put it back in the pot or grill without cleaning it. Added extra flavor, LOL. Hed tell us his secret Ingredient in his bean soup, I cant repeat it here. Does anyone else recall what it was? Sure had some great lunches there, he was so entertaining with his stories. I know he started out in Ashland, retired, then opened a small shop in Frackville down by the library.
