Anyone else see the article in Sunday June 16, 2013, concerning the raising cost of flood insurance in Florida. Definitely a must read.l personally love how they posted numbers. Such as 16.1Billion$$$ ~ Flood insurance premiums paid by Florida Property Owners from 1978 thru 2011. Or 3.7 Billion$ ~ total flood claims paid to Florida property owners same time frame., 2 million ~ total flood policies in Florida , roughly 40% of flood policies nationwide. 25% ~ The annual rate hike in Flood insurance premiums starting this year, some as high as 63%. ( yeah that totally seems fair). Keep in mind yall, this is just flood insurance. If they made 12.4 Billion $$$ profits just in Flood alone from 1978 ~2011, why the hell are we seeing minimum 25% rate increases to as high as 63%???? Makes absolutely no sense whatsoever!!! It is definitely time to take a stand and yell ENOUGH!!!!!
