Anyone else think we should picket sign at the ground breaking ceremony on Aug 1st for the new mcdonalds coming in, in Mabank? Seriously. Mabank. You know... on the same not even 10 minute distance from the other one in Gun Barrel on the same piece of highway, basically. The decision for things that are built is foolish around here... I counted 8 Mexican restaurants just on hwy 334 and yet were getting a taco casa. Which is fine, whatever, I hear people are excited, but honestly... junk! Why all the junk? All Im saying is, stop bringing us junk, we need a McAlisters or something, can we get a froyo place back? And someone needs to get their heels clicking for a Target! *steps off soapbox* On the up side.... at least I dont have to turn out of that awful parking lot anymore in Gun Barrel, that whole intersection is scary stuff... but thats not worth the ridiculous new location.
