Anyone ever schedule a tooth extraction, have a dream the Dr broke it off at the gumline, and within 48 hours the dream became reality? Yep. Call me Daniel, I suppose. I walked in yesterday at 12. Told Dr. T my dream. He laughed!!! He numbed my gum. Sang some Chris Tomlin and waited 5 minutes. Started pulling back and forth. Crack! He looked down at me and said, ...it broke off... Then, he tells me that a drill is necessary. I look at the lights on the ceiling and they literally look like they are liquid, melting, dripping. After drilling, digging, pulling- root 1, then more, and root 2, even more, root 3. He looked at my terrified expression and told me I should sit in that chair as long as I needed to bc I looked very shaken. You think? ...I sat until the lights solidified again, got up, paid for the torture, and drove home. It was a bad, painful, experience. I still love and respect that Dr as I know his faith is in Jesus Christ. His assistants are wonderful. No complaints. I just dont want to ever experience that again... :)
