Anyone have arthritic horses that benefit from knee injections? Not looking to correct but maybe make him more comfortable, we do light trail riding and he doesnt have issues other then stiffness and some soreness if we go too long. He is on great supplements already but would like him to be more comfortable and ride him longer without having to worry about having him sore later. Specifically only looking for knee injection info please, or IM injections? He rides for an hour or two at a shot but has gone up to 5. Front knees are pigeoned out and not correctable. Vet has checked and he is sound for riding and I was encouraged to ride him, he is turned out 24*7. Havent discussed injections with him yet though.
