Anyone have experience with fistula issues? Husband just started dialysis and hes had three good treatments and three bad. Either they cant get the needle in or after 5 sticks he starts to clot at the site of the needle. Hes had the fistula for about 8 months and had two balloons done several weeks ago. There has been miscommunication between the center and doc as well as some mistakes by techs (using the wrong size needle and not knowing it). Couldnt start him at all last nite so were headed back this AM to try again and his doc said hell be there. Everyone is blaming something else. So frustrated that were going to switch centers. Is this typical or what????
