Applications for the 2015 Science and Engineering Apprenticeship Program (SEAP/high school internship program age 16-summer after graduation) and the Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program (NREIP/college internship program for students with a sophomore standing-graduate students) are now being accepted at seap.asee.org and nreip.asee.org , respectively. To learn more about SEAP at NRL-Stennis Space Center (NRL-SSC) : https://seap.asee.org/participating_labs/naval_research_laboratory_stennis_space_center_ms NRL-SSC has not been notified of its allocation of SEAPs, but the expectation is 10 students. NRL doesnt receive an allocation of NREIPs. NREIPs are paid for by PIs/project funds. Therefore, the number of NREIPS is fluid. Application period closes in VERY EARLY January. SEAP stipend: $3,300. (8 weeks) NREIP stipend: sophomores: $5,400; juniors/seniors: $8,100; graduate students: $10,800.
