Anyone have suggestions for getting word out for the next weekend of I AM HERE NOW? Im being blatantly open about this struggle. The first weekend the numbers were low (although thankfully not as low as last year). I have sent out press releases, put up posters, handed out postcards, sent out emails (to lists over 1000 people specifically in the dance community), posted in calendar listings, and sent personal messages, engaged in conversation, etc. My circles are small. I dont get out much... So what are strategies that have worked for you? Or if you have any suggestions, Im all ears. I want people to come see the work that we have worked so hard on, not because we worked hard, but I believe its worth to see. As a person (supposedly) focused on marketing and design I feel embarrassed that I didnt do a better job. Anyone?
