Anyone here have Goodridge braided hoses on their mini? I have bought brand new 3/8 UNF male brake pipe nut with copper pipe and flared the pipe correctly. I then proceeded to put it in the braided hoses I used to have on the mini before I went Vauxhall. The problem I have is brake nut is going all the way till the very last turn it goes snug and tight. To me this means if it leaks I cant tighten it up any more as I dont have any more travel to be able to tighten it up. I tested this on a standard brake hose to see if there was any difference between the designs of the female union joint,. The standard hose is exactly the same as the goodridge one. Is this supposed to happen? Its been several years since I messed with my front brakes on the mini. I am pretty sure the Goodridge hoses, I have are for Mini because they are from Mini Mail in Newent. Advice?
