Anyone interested in jumping into an in-progress conlang? Hop on over to Conlang making: 2nd attempt! Its going, in my impression, much more smoothly and quickly than the first conlang attempt from this group, and were making some important decisions about the language as we speak. To recap, this is a split-ergative, primarily agglutinative language with some fusional elements and an atypical system of noun declension involving a dummy particle taking affixes. It possesses a number of other unusual features, such as phonemic voiceless (whispered) vowels, willing vs. unwilling possession, and a tense system distinguishing between ideal and negative futures. Its an a-priori language in which were all contributing vocabulary and voting on all potential features, and its spoken by a conculture on Earth, likely somewhere isolated in South America.
