Anyone interested in nursing or nursing education is encouraged to attend the Regional Meetings and the Nursing Education Summit. The Montana Center to Advance Health through Nursing (MT CAHN) is working to increase the percentage of registered nurses in Montana with a bachelor’s degree in nursing or higher. MT CAHN is hosting regional meetings on this topic: • Helena, April 24, 2-4 pm – St. Peter’s Hospital, Education Center • Bozeman, April 25, 3-5 pm – Bozeman Deaconess Hospital, Meadowlark/Bitterroot Rm • Kalispell, April 28, 1-3 pm – FVCC Arts & Technology Building, Room 139 • Pablo, April 29, 12-2 pm – Salish Kootenai College, Theatre • Missoula, April 29, 4-6 pm – Missoula College Health & Business, Room 01 (HB 01) A statewide Summit on Nursing Education will be held on June 9- 10, 2014 at the Great Northern Hotel in Helena. This Summit will bring together nursing educators and nursing leaders from Montana with those from other states who have developed effective models of nursing education.
