Anyone interested in participating in begginers strings orchestra just for fun please contact me directly. I am thinking roughly at this moment, but we will have a practice once a week (one hour, on a weekday morning) starting middle of January to end of April. There will be no practice during the spring break. We will have a mini concert at the end of the season if possible. If I can get a certain number of people to join, I will ask Jimmy Floyd Family Center if I can use their space. Or if you have free space I can rent for not too much ( like your church), please let me know. Basically, for beginners, but you need to be able to read music. I will arrange the music at your level and supply (probably not classical tunes. More familiar tunes, old folk song or some pops). There is no fee to join, but you need to have your instrument.
