Anyone interested in submitting work to a literary journal, please take a read!!! : Gandy Dancer is a student-run literary journal based out of SUNY Geneseo that accepts submissions of poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, drama, and photography/visual art from all SUNY students (undergraduate & graduate). This semester, all CNF submissions will also be entered into our Creative Nonfiction Contest, where one student will win $100 and a free copy of our next issue. Our main goal at Gandy Dancer is to help connect and foster a creative environment between the 64 SUNY campuses. Our submission deadline for our next issue is September 26, although we accept submissions year-round. This past Saturday, students from the class that runs Gandy Dancer held a table at the Rochester Pub Fair and in November, the journals other managing editor and I will present at the FUSE (the National Forum for Undergraduate Student Editors) conference at Bennington College in Vermont. Were hoping this publicity will help make Gandy Dancer a nationally-known journal and promote the great work of SUNY students across the state. Gandy Dancer is also recognized as a publication by the Library of Congress and has an ISSN number. Weve entered previous issues in the AWP contest for undergraduate literary journals as well as plain china, Bennington Colleges anthology of the best undergraduate writing. https://gandydancer.submittable/submit
