Anyone know how accidents are handled in California? I got bumped by a car, wasnt really a wreck. I literally whipd the paint off my bumper and there is NO sign of any damage! The other car had my paint on bumper and a reflector broken. I gave the guy my insurance, driver license #, cell phone #. I said my fault just call my insurance. I said sorry and drove off. The guy called wanted to make a deal outside of using insurance. I said no. He has called now 5-6 times leaving messages saying how he has estimates up to $1200 to fix it and we need to settle? What do I do? Meet him somewhere and beat him or just ignore him or call back and tell to use insurance?
