Anyone know of any wealthy philanthropist who has a passion for aerospace who may be interested in working with us? Im putting it out there because I believe that the more minds we have all pushing in the same direction, the more we can accomplish. Things are starting to accelerate in a great direction and I thought I would put it out there. In the new year, and I apologize for the delay, we will need some expert simulator pilots for X-Plane 10 and ideally retired RCAF fighter pilots to give an objective opinion and feedback on the bird. The conditions are, you must be Canadian and reside in Canada and must sign our non-disclosure agreement. One gentleman a number of months back contacted me about it, and I apologize as I have so much on my mind, but if you read this, let me know as I recall your extensive experience is what were looking for. Please contact me again. 2015 is going to prove to be the most exciting year yet. Im also happy to let you know, weve selected the engines which will power the first Super Arrow. Dealing with this company is indeed intimidating and I am reminded of my Dads advice when Ive spoken at military functions: Stand up, speak up, shut up. I must admit, there is something profound about deciding to just say enough with the notion that Canada cant design and build our own birds, sit down and design an aircraft, finish it, then enhance it with the help of an engineer who worked at Phantomworks, members of the RCAF and others, then work with a lovely Canadian who built her for X-Plane and decide one night to go flying on the West Coast. https://youtube/watch?v=35wsSIt5tVM Make no mistake, this is unprecedented and most of the time, it feels like I am flying by the seat of my pants and its a wonderful sensation! There are just so many amazing Canadians and non-Canadians alike who share this vision and for that, Im humbled. Im doing everything I can to advance this in the best way I know how and with each passing day, we continue to press forward making real progress. Just know I really appreciate and adore all of you who support this vision, my dream, our dream and I wish I could move faster. Ive learned to be patient, dont do anything stupid and dont rush things. Thats one of the reasons why I have been patient in moving forward with the simulator version. The Super Arrow comes to represent a renewed vision for Canada and defines a new level of excellence in this field and I know I cant do it alone my friends. Im just glad I have you all supporting this. A number of months ago I reached out to Red Bull and they responded with where I can go to submit a plan for potential funding. Something I will at some point contemplate doing as they are one of the most amazing and inspiring companies on earth that could fund her. A little while ago I sent an email to Sir Richard Branson of Virgin to inquire if there was perhaps some interest given their work in the field. I thought I would show you all just two images to keep you inspired. Personally I think these would compliment Virgin Galactic. The next major steps are the completion of our 1:8 scale bird, presently under construction and working towards completing the solid modeling for finite element analysis testing along with some other advanced analysis to answer Just how good is she? Now...can you just dream with me for a moment....imagine a roll out, on a bright summer morning, thousands come out to see her, our anthem plays, everyone sings and then Commander Chris Hadfield wearing the watch I gave him takes her up on her maiden flight? It is the prevailing belief in a better Canada tomorrow that keeps me motivated. There is nothing as powerful as an idea whose time has come and when you fuse it with hope, inspiration and a vision for OUR CANADA, one realizes just how many amazing people there are in this country who feel the same. Anyway, I hope this message finds you all well and I hope it serves to inspire you all for today! Cheers. Joe ps. If I set up a crowdfunding campaign to help fund the next steps, IE the completion of the solid modeling and testing, would you contribute?
