Anyone offer some ideas as to whats going on with my lad?? Hes 4 years old (on the 1st) German shepherd/bully mix. Since the fence fell down a while back, hes escaped a few times (into an ally way between me and neighbours with gates either end) and been to toilet. No big deal but dont want him doing it as its shared with my neighbours who have little ones and dont have dogs so dont it to be messy down there! Anyway - hes now completely stopped going to toilet in the garden... Im always out with him and stand in front of the fence to stop him escaping. He paces quickly back and forth and then runs back inside. Its like he is scared of the garden but nothing has happened to spook him or worry him. Its totally out of the blue? Anyone shed some light? Im stumped! (I dont need training advice, just peoples thoughts on WHY this might have happened)
