Anyone paying attention to the ALS (Lou Gehrigs Disease) Ice Bucket Challenge? Its gaining momentum exponentially; as most people that participate in turn nominate (on the average) another three people. Of course, it was inevitable that Bruce Springsteen would get called out. And who better than his good buddy, Eddie Vedder!! (The Pearl Jam frontman also nominated actor Tim Robbins and a member of the hottest teen idol band in the world, One Direction.) So, sometime tomorrow, a video should surface of The Boss getting a bucket of ice water dumped on him; which, of course, is pretty much what he already does over the course of each of his marathon concerts! Of COURSE, hes gonna do it. The interesting thing will be discovering who HE nominates? Anyone care to guess? Im going to say Tom Morello FOR SURE. Perhaps Sting. Or Bono...although singer Michael Franti called him out last week...but no video has surfaced yet. I dont think Bruce would call out the E-Street Band. But who knows?
