Anyone ride this train at Playland Park?? This photo was taken on Aug 10, 1947 during Studebaker’s annual Summer Frolic at the popular venue. An estimated 7-10,000 employees and family attended. This train was sold a few years later (c.1949) to Adolph List of Carlysle, Illinois. He kept it stored for over 60 years until his son Roger extracted it from storage cleaned it up got it running and loaded onto his 1947 M16 truck and hauled it back to South Bend for the Studebaker Drivers Club Intl meet in 2012. It has all the original cars with original paint and tracks.
