Anyone see the James Brown movie Get On Up? I did last night in a packed theater. Great movie and it will undoubtedly win some Oscars. Chadwick Boseman was channeling the Godfather of Soul in his performance. One thing that stood out was the portrayal of Augusta in the film... it was not pretty. In fact Augusta came off as a backwards hick town. Maybe that is why the director purposefully chose to film Augusta scenes in Mississippi. One particular scene that took place at the Augusta Country Club (circa 1940) really stood out. Well you will just have to see it for yourself.. but I have a feeling the director probably did some research on The Cabal.
