Anyone still think ONLY purebreds are valuable?! O.o How many times are we hearing stories just like this one and the hero is almost always someone rescued from a killing Pound. Youve heard me say it before, many times, I have no prejudice against purebred dogs, or cats, Im all for the idea of everyone having the dog of their dreams as part of their family so, now that youve finally saved enough to buy that pup youve dreamed of having since you were knee-high to a grasshopper, adopt a Pound pup, too. Fact: Companions lives are fuller and happier when they have a species mate to live with, too. Or, another species mate to pal around with. ALL companion animals deserve safe, happy, loving homes; just, please, dont get too tunnel-visioned; include a Pound animal in your dream, too. You will be saving an innocent life and, who knows, he or she might just get the chance to return the favor someday.
