Anyone that knows Jim or I, knows how hard Doodlebugs loss has been on us. And Im afraid Im in a bit of a bad mood. So if you dont want to read a post thats the result of me being in a bad mood, please just overlook this one. Several breeders over the past couple of years have relayed to me that Doodlebugs breeder has complained to them that I keep her identity secret, so she does not get credit for being his breeder. Today she made a veiled comment in reference to this in public, and Im going to reply. Doodlebugs breeders identity has never been a secret, but then again its nothing I have ever bragged about either. He was registered with her kennel name, and I have always told anyone who asked where he came from. But I also tell them the condition he was in when he arrived. Doodle was about 16 weeks old when we picked him up at the airport The stench was gagging. It wasnt a normal puppy had an accident in the crate smell, but it was a nasty stinky dirty kennel smell. The only thing I can compare it to is the smell of the primate house at the zoo. Hes one of the only puppies I ever purchased that did not ride home from the airport in my lap. He looked like his toenails had never been cut they were grown into almost complete circles. He was so full Coccidia giardia etc. that it took months to get it straightened out. Despite all this I was happy to get him and thats the way it goes sometimes when you buy something from someone halfway across the country. BUT A couple of years later I met someone who had been good friend of the breeder. She told me that before I got him, the breeder had nicknamed Doodle Fugly. And she had bragged about how she had given me a good screwing, by selling me Fugly. Now if his breeder still wants me to probably brag about where he came from, Ill post her name below. If not this post will be deleted in 24 hours, and I dont want to hear about it anymore.
