Anyone that knows me knows 5 a.m. is not a time I am usually awake. I had about 5 hours of sleep last night and went to work in Atlanta today. Our grand baby, Addy, was admitted to the hospital yesterday and I am spending the night with her and Sandra Dale. I have slept about 4 hours off and on but I am wide awake now listening to Sandra snore and Addy breathe. Addy has Celiac Disease which depletes her digestive system of immunities she needs to fight off bacteria. She has been running a fever up to 103.6 off and on for several days and has been pretty sick. They admitted her because she was dehydrated today and will try to find out what bacteria is causing her all these problems. It is so hard to watch children hurt and not know what to do to help them. Even harder is to watch them cry when the doctors are trying to make them better. Addy is such a happy child and a blessing to us! Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
