Anyone thinking of making the trip to Morocco? I’ve lived between Sydney and Marrakech (Morocco) for the last few years so I’ve accumulated tons of local knowledge. Stuff like where to and where not to stay, what to see (apart from awesome Wanderers) how to dress, what’s the weather like and handy tips for women . Games will be hosted between Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in the capital Rabat located on the Atlantic coast and Stade de Marrakech in you guessed it, Marrakech about 3 hours inland, perched on the edge of nowhere and launching point for a snow capped Atlas mountains hike or Sahara desert adventure. Sure its a conservative Islamic country which may concern some, however the kingdom has a rich, lengthy history of European influence from Spain and France. Unlike Saudi no visas are required for Australians and women can drive, work AND attend the football. Wow ! So modern, right? I’d be happy to help with any questions or information wherever I can.
