Anyone who has been in a California public school in the last 8 years knows schools cannot spare any money for a reserve. Please tell us, state leaders, in what other category are we ranked as low in funding as our public schools? And, if history is any guide, in tough times that money wont get to schools but will instead go to the highest bidder. PLEASE, NO rainy day fund for schools until we rise above average funding in the nation. Please. For our children, our future. Please.
