Anyone who has just been watching Michael Palin being terrifyingly brilliant in part two of quite possibly THE greatest 3 part ghost story ever shown on telly - BBC1s Remember Me - and now finds themselves unable to turn off the lights, or go to sleep peacefully, or finds that they now have a sudden brain numbing fear of dripping taps, rain and indeed any sort of water at all after watching it (not to mention having awful frightful visions of scary mysterious Indian ladies possibly lurking just at the edge of that peripheral vision blind spot in your eye, in the corner of your room, slowly uncurling and glaring at you from what you thought was just a pile of cushions or a clump of old washing that you were hoping to get around to doing tomorrow) or that you have suddenly developed a fear filled phobia of going anywhere near Scarborough might like to try and take their mind off it by watching this little clip of Michael Palin in his slightly less terrified days: youtube/watch?v=YLdK9zaLaG8 We are 2 parts into Remember Me already and I have to confess that I still have no idea exactly what is going on in it but whatever it is its certainly making outstanding television. Im beginning to think though that maybe the scary mysterious Indian lady might have been Fish Slapped by Michael Palin sometime in the Past, possibly accidentally possibly not, during one of his Round the World expeditions. And now she has come back to haunt him !! Poor old Michael !! Its the last part next week so hopefully well all get to find out then.
