Anyone who is familiar with the story of the Three little Pigs will remember that they all built houses with different material. The straw was flimsy , took little effort and literally cost him his life. The branches /sticks were a little more durable ; but no match for the wolf. The third pig used bricks and as we remember the Israelites in Egypt we understand the art of brick making. The wolf who was accustomed to breathing out threats and causing fear was now 2-0 ; not because he was more powerful but , due to the foundation or the lack thereof that the pigs chose to build their house. The story goes on to tell us that the wolf was unsuccessful concerning the brick house , even after trying to lure the pig to different destinations, so in the end he decided to come down the chimney. The pig became aware of his plot, set a pot on the fire and the wolf found himself ...literally in hot water. There are a myriad of lessons to learn here...I will just address a few 1. Build with a solid foundation 2. Learn from others lack of planning 3.Be certain that the enemy is looking for cracks in your walls 4.Know that whats on the inside of your house can protect you from whats on the outside of your house 5.Refrain from having continual conversation with the enemy 6.Do not try and defeat him in your own strength 7.Dont be so eager to do life alone ; for maybe if all three pigs lived in the house together, lives could have been spared.
